’m a wife to a high school baseball coach, new mommy to our sweet baby girl, wrangler of two wild pups, and a crack shot with a camera. I wear a lot of hats, and I am many things…But I never thought I would be a photographer.
A Dermatologist? Yes. A Marketing Executive? Sure. Pharmaceutical Sales Rep? Absolutely. And at one point, I’m pretty sure Nurse was on my list of aspirations! Haha! I genuinely love people and knew from the beginning I wanted a career that would allow me to connect and serve others. During high school and college, I came to the conclusion that my people skills and creative side were MUCH, MUCH stronger than my ability to study 24/7. Looking back, I probably should have known this when I was the one in class who was obsessed with a new pack of markers, doodled on everything, and refused to leave my house without a disposable camera! At least I figured it out. Better late than never, right? So… Here I am, doing all the things I love, while meeting and serving others.
I LOVE: New School Supplies (See above.). Milkshakes. Family time- immediate and extended. Sunday lunch. Exploring new places. Yoga pants. Anything purple. Being a Mom. Maggie giggles (well, I pretty much love anything she does). Puppy snuggles. The beach, lake, and boat rides. Netflix. Music you can dance to. Painting. Wandering aimlessly through Target. And days my husband cleans our house! (He cleans more than I do!)
I HATE: Traffic. the sounds of snoring and chewing (I will actually leave a room). Green Peas. Pumping gas. Mascara. Deciding where we eat. Talking on the phone (unless it’s my mom). Road Trips longer than 5 hours. Packing for said roadtrips. Clowns. And folding clothes.
I WON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT: My epi-pen!! (I have a SERIOUS peanut allergy- and ironically live in the peanut capital of the world. Go figure.) My phone. A snack. A pen/marker/ writing utensil of some sort. Hair Tie. And Vaseline (I swear it solves everything). I usually forget everything else.
